Description

This boundary stone, located 100 meters south-west of the Ian Tetley Memorial School, dates from the late 18th century and is made of local gritstone. It is a short rectangular post with a roughly carved top, and one side features an inscription of the letter "H". This stone marks the boundary between the parish of Killinghall and the parish of Hampsthwaite.
