Description

The boundary stone located on the playing field is likely from the early 19th century. It is a round-headed slab approximately ½ metre high. The southeast face is inscribed with the words "Habergm eaves," while the opposite side reads "Padiham." This stone marks the boundary between the civil parishes of Ightenhill and Simonstone and North Town. Along with another stone, it was part of a series.
