SD 83 NW HIGHAM WITH GROVE LANE WEST CLOSE BOOTH (north side, off) 10/304 Hollins Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid-late C17 with C19 additions. Coursed rubble sandstone. Welsh slate and stone slate roofs. 2 storeys with attics, 2:1 bay; 2-storey outshut and low lean-to to rear; 2-storey wing to rear left. Large quoins. Door within late C19 gabled 1-storey porch against left return. Ovolo-moulded mullioned windows with hoodmoulds: bay-l window of 2 lights, bay-2 of 6 lights with king mullion; bay-3 set back has 5-light window. 1st floor windows of 2, 3 and 4 lights. C19 corbels and gable copings; truncated stacks to each end and between bays 2 and 3. Left return: 2-light, 1st floor window as front; early C19 wing on left has square-faced mullioned windows and dripstones. Right return: several original windows, some blocked.
