Description
This boundary stone, dating from the late 19th century, is associated with the local board of health. It is made of painted millstone grit and stands approximately 75 centimeters high. The stone features a basket-arched top and has a vertical inscription that is divided by a scored vertical line, reading: "SKIPTON LOCAL BOARD / ES HD STIRTON WITH THORLBY."
