SD 95 SE STIRTON WITH THORLBY STIRTON LAtlll (west side)

7/27 Stocks

2 upright posts and base rail of stocks. Probably early C18. Millstone grit. Left-hand upright c.60 cm tall, now broken. Right-hand upright c.90 cm tall, rectangular in section with mortice on inner side. Base rail c.120 cm wide, originally with 4 leg recesses, but right-hand side is partly damaged and only 2 recesses to left are complete. Wooden top rail now missing.
