39 Kirkgate is an early 19th-century building constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features two bays, each with cased flush-framed sashes that have keystones. The mid-19th-century shopfront includes panelled pilasters, scrolled consoles, and a moulded fascia.
