Description

Nos 33 and 34 on Kirkgate in Ripon are early 19th-century buildings constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. They rise three storeys high, with each building having one bay. The modern casement windows feature keystones at No 33. Both buildings have elaborate mid-19th-century shopfronts; No 33 showcases shouldered arched lights and moulded Gothic brackets supporting the cornice, while No 34 is distinguished by panelled piers and moulded scrolled consoles beneath its moulded cornice.
