Description

The Pinfold at Newby Farm, dating from around 1750, is a rectangular enclosure located approximately 30 metres north of the farmhouse. It features coursed rubble stone walls that are about 1 metre high, with cambered coping stones. The enclosure has rounded corners and is bordered by walls to the north and west, the wall of the Quoits ground to the south, and the barn to the east. There is a gate situated in the north-west corner.
