Description

Swan Lane Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with a later addition. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a concrete tile roof with ashlar coping and a shaped kneeler on the left gable. The building has two storeys and three bays. There is a boarded door under a stone lintel to the left, and 20th-century casement windows set in flush wood architraves. A stepped eaves band runs along the roofline. To the left, there is a later single-storey addition. The cottage is included in the register mainly for its group value context.
