Description
Swan Lane House is a house located in Knayton with Brawith, likely built in the 17th century, with later additions from the late 18th century and alterations from the 19th century. The structure is made of coursed squared sandstone and features a swept pantile roof with ashlar coping and shaped kneelers, along with gable and ridge stacks. The house has two storeys and consists of two bays. There is a chamfered plinth that extends to the ground floor cill level. To the left, there is a board door with a deep, chamfered lintel and chamfered architrave. To the right, on both floors, there are later 19th-century three-light windows with flat-faced mullions. Other windows are 20th-century casements. The eaves are stepped, and at the rear, there are two-light mullioned windows set in a chamfered surround.
