Description

South Fields is a cottage built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone and features a pantile roof with ashlar coping and a shaped kneeler on the left end. The cottage has brick end stacks, with the left stack being rebuilt. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with quoins on the left end. There is a step leading up to a central half-glazed door that is set beneath a concrete lintel. The windows are 20th-century casements with stone lintels and projecting sills.
