Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th and 19th centuries. It is built from coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a pantile roof. The roof has a central brick ridge stack and stone coped gables with plain kneelers. The cottage is two storeys high and has a three bay main elevation. In the centre, there is a pair of 2-light casement windows beneath plain stone lintels, with two similar but smaller windows located above. On the ground floor to the right, there is a small fixed light window with a plain lintel, and to the left, there is a 20th-century lead-to timber and glazed porch. The cottage is included for its group value only.
