Description

This is a table tomb dedicated to George Hewitt, located approximately 5 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew in Kirkby Malzeard. The tomb dates from 1739 and is made of stone. It has a rectangular shape with a slab that is arched at the top. The surface features good but worn lettering that reads "to George Hewitt 1739," with the lettering bordered by a shield shape. The tomb is supported by short square legs.
