Description

The Hewlett tomb, located 9 meters east of the south porch door of the Church of St Andrew, is a lofty chest tomb dating from the 18th century. It features a low pitched 'tent' top above a cornice and a high moulded plinth. The long sides of the tomb have a central square inscription panel, adorned with carved floriated corners, commemorating the Hewlett family of Brockley House.
