Description

The Old Vicarage and Stable Wing is a dwelling that was formerly a vicarage, built in the late 18th century. It features a red brick construction with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The main building is a large free-standing block, with a painted brick stable wing attached at the back, which is now also used as a dwelling. The structure stands 2½ storeys high and has three windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars. A central Doric portico leads to a new door situated under a large transom light. There is a stone string course that runs continuously to the cills of the first-floor windows, which have stepped voussoir heads. Additionally, there are two lunette dormers with glazing bars that contain very small panes.
