Description

The barn at Upper House Farm is a 19th-century structure built from fine coursed and squared sandstone, topped with a low pitched Welsh slate roof. It features a central waggon entrance flanked by two vertical ventilation slits on each side of the door. At the left end of the barn, there is a single-storey stable constructed from rubble, which has an asbestos-cement corrugated sheet roof and a door set in a heavy plain frame. This barn is noted as an especially good example of the local type of barn.
