Description

This is a cottage located to the right of Churchbye House in Kirkby Malzeard, built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a pantile roof that has the lower two courses made of stone slates. The cottage is two storeys high and features two bays. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a plain stone chamfered surround, which has rounded corners at the lintel. The windows are fitted with 20th-century casements in plain stone surrounds, and the ground floor windows have been lengthened. There is stone coping on the right side of the building, which includes a brick end stack.
