Description
This is a tombstone dedicated to Francis Rund, located approximately 20 metres to the south-west of the Church of St Lambert. It dates from 1739 and is made of ashlar stone. The slab features a moulded architrave with a shaped top and includes the inscription: "Here lies the Body of Francis Rund of Alcough, who departed this life July 30 1739...".
