Description

The tombchest of William Rundle, dating from 1779, is located 12 meters to the northeast of the Church of St Tallan in Lansallos. It commemorates William, the husband of Mary Rundle from Barton of Henderzick. The tombchest is constructed from stone rubble and features a slate lid. The slate lid is well engraved, adorned with an angel's head and an inscription in lower case lettering with serifs. Below the inscription, there are two verses.
