Description
Oak Tree Farmhouse and its attached outbuildings date from the mid to late 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick, with some areas rendered, and features a Welsh slate roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with four bays arranged in a 1:2:1 pattern. The entrance includes a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a stone Doric surround that has half columns, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course to the right of the first bay. There is a wide space between the third and fourth bays. All windows are four-pane sashes with stone sills, and there is a notable gap between the tops of the first-floor windows and the dentilled eaves. The farmhouse also has shaped kneelers and stone coping, with an end stack on the left and ridge stacks located between the third and fourth bays on both ranges. The attached outbuildings are single-storey, rendered brick structures with a pantile roof on the right side. They feature two sets of double doors on the left and five square openings on the right.
