Description
College Farmhouse is a farmhouse and service building dating from the 17th century, with later additions. It is constructed of squared rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is a single range, with the farmhouse on the left side, which is two storeys high. The facade features three double chamfered mullion windows on each storey. The ground floor windows consist of four, five, and five lights, all with hoodmoulds, while the upper storey windows are all four lights. There are two chimneys, one of which has a blocked opening that may have been a fire window. A 19th-century doorway is located between the first two windows. At the rear, there is a 19th-century block and two double chamfered mullion windows that are missing their mullions. The service building on the right side is believed to have been a granary and includes an external stone stair at the rear.
