Description
Moor Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with an addition made in 1781 to the right. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof, standing two storeys high. The 17th-century part features one double chamfered stone mullion window with three lights and a hoodmould, along with four unmoulded window openings. Above the chamfered doorway, there is the inscription "IW 1781" scratched into the stone. The cottage has two chimneys, and on the right-hand gable wall, there is another double chamfered stone mullion window, this one with two lights. Inside, there is a stone stair and heavy purlins.
