Description

Old Hall Farmhouse is a house, likely dating from the later 17th century, with alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of large squared rubble blocks and has a stone slate roof. The house has a compact, L-shaped layout. The south-west facade features a small single-light window on the ground floor to the left, alongside a double-chamfered stone mullion and transom window of six lights, incorporating a king mullion and a hoodmould. A modern doorway and door are present, along with six unmoulded sash windows. The south-east facade has 19th-century openings, with the exception of a double-chamfered window on the first floor to the right; this window originally had three lights but is now lacking both mullions. A six-light double-chamfered stone mullion window with a king mullion is set under the north-east gable on the ground floor, and above it is a three-light double-chamfered mullion window on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The building possesses group value.
