14/138 Ice house approximately 15 metres north of All Saints Church

Ice house. c1800. Orange-red brick sunk into a natural slope with a sandstone rubble retaining wall. Short entrance passage gives access to the cylindrical interior with a domed roof. Probably belonged to the Downe Arms Hotel (qv).
