Description
Carriden House Ice House is an ice house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, set into the side of a slope. The entrance elevation is constructed of sandstone rubble, featuring tooled long and short quoins around the central entrance, which has been partially bricked up.
Inside, as seen in 2004, there is a brick entrance passage that leads to a large, deep circular chamber.
