Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations and an extension. It is constructed of red brick in a random bond pattern, with the gable wall on the left rendered and a weather-board porch. The roof is covered with pantiles. The building has a 3-cell, baffle-entry plan and features an outbuilding to the right, which was extended to the front in the 20th century.

The farmhouse has a two-storey, five-bay front. To the right of the center is a part-glazed and panelled door located within a 20th-century porch. The windows throughout are 20th-century three-light designs with top-opening panes, except for the first-floor window on the right, which has two lights. The ground-floor openings are topped with flat arches made of rubbed brick, and there is a stepped brick eaves course. The chimney stacks include a double stack at the center and a later stack to the left.

Inside, the ground-floor rooms feature chamfered spine beams, with the beam in the room to the right being stopped. The cupboard doors in the central room have butterfly hinges.
