Description
This is an outbuilding and cart-shed, dated 1886, located approximately 5 metres north-east of Spring House. It features 17th century masonry and is constructed from coursed squared gritstone with a graduated stone slate roof. The structure consists of four bays, with the southern bay having two storeys while the other bays are open to the roof. It has quoins and includes three late 19th century cart entrances in the center and to the right, with the right entrance being blocked and a wooden lintel at eaves level. On the left side, there is a two-light recessed-chamfered mullion window on both the ground and first floors. The left quoin bears the inscription 'F.B.G. 1886' in a recess. This building is included for its group value.
