Description
Prospect Place comprises a row of six plain, early 19th century red brick houses, numbered 1 to 5. The site slopes, resulting in the southern houses being four storeys high, while the northern ones are three storeys. The roofs are slate-covered. Each house has two sash windows, some with glazing bars. A series of brick porches front the north side, each containing a door of six fielded panels. Originally, the south front featured balconies. These buildings form a group with The Bell Hotel, Bland’s Cliff, and the other listed buildings.
