KING STREET (West Side) No 22

GV II

Early C19 (possible recasing). Two storeys stucco front with cornice and blocking course, two windows first floor, glazing bar sashes in architrave surrounds. Former shop or public house front on ground floor, three large lights and door flanked by Doric pilasters, panelled frieze, block cornice with three acroteria. Side elevation to passage rendered, flat eaves. Three windows at far end and central double doors of six fielded panels with three pane fanlight, scrolled brackets to cornice over. Inside open string staircase with linked scrolls between bannisters, moulded rail.

The Brewery Stores and Nos 21 to 24 (consec) form a group.
