Description

No. 29 Newborough is a building dating from around 1820 to 1830, featuring a painted stucco front. It has four storeys, with the fourth floor serving as an attic, positioned above a projecting cornice and frieze that has a dentil moulding. This cornice is supported by four Ionic pilasters that rise from moulded bases through the first and second floors. The upper floors have three windows, with a sill course on the second floor between the pilasters. The windows are recessed sashes, with glazing bars intact only on the attic and false sashes. The ground floor has a modern shop front.
