Description
No. 215 is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red-brown brick laid in Flemish bond and features a Welsh slate roof at the front and a Westmorland slate roof at the rear. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, while the first floor is adorned with four-pane sash windows that have flush exposed sash boxes, projecting ashlar sills, and flat arches. The second floor features matching half-size windows. The building is finished with dentil eaves, kneelers, and ashlar coping, and it has a rebuilt end stack on the left side.
