Description
No. 106 Howard Street is a house that has been converted into a house and shop, dating from around 1820 with a shop added around 1890. The building is constructed of English bond brick with ashlar dressings and features a wooden shop front. It has a Welsh slate roof with an ashlar chimney. The building is three storeys high and has three bays. To the right, there is an overlight above the house door, which is covered with hardboard. The shop front has a four-light arcade with a door on the left, situated beneath a bracketed fascia. The upper floors have late 19th-century sash windows with sill bands and wedge stone lintels. The roof includes a small skylight and a chimney at the left end.
