Description
No. 12 Silver Street is a house that has been converted into a house and shop. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands four storeys high and has one window on the front and one in the left return. The ground floor has been altered, while the upper floors retain sash windows, most of which have glazing bars and are set under header-course lintels. The roof is hipped, and the narrow left return has similar windows.
Inside, the second-floor front room includes a lugged chimney piece, and there are six-panel doors on this floor, along with two-panel doors with L hinges on the top floor.
