Description
Albert House is a house and shop built in the mid-19th century, featuring alterations. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. It has raised stone surrounds and projecting stone sills for the sash windows, with the upper windows featuring glazing bars. The first-floor windows have plain blocks flanking pediments, and the name "ALBERT HOUSE" is inscribed in the lintels. The building is adorned with giant corner pilasters, an eaves band, and a gutter cornice, with a chimney located at the right end. Additionally, there is a painted coat of arms and the inscription "VICTORIA AD 1837" on the left pilaster, and "VICTORIA AD 1887" on the right.
