Description

BEDALE THE WYND SE 2688-2788 (north side, off) 8/54 Lodge approximately 20 metres to south-west 22.8.66 of Bedale Hall Gatehouse (formerly listed as Lodge by the gatehouse) GV II Lodge to Bedale Hall, now house. Early C18. Brick in English garden wall bond with graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central half- glazed door with overlight set in flush wood architrave under flat brick arch. All windows have stone cills and flat brick arches. Either side of door are unequally-hung 9-pane sashes. 1st floor: central blind window, either side 6-pane sashes. Stepped and dentilled cornice. Roof hipped with central ridge-stack.
