Description
The Walled Garden, built around 1770, is a walled kitchen garden located in Allerton Mauleverer with Hopperton. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a large rectangular shape, supported by irregularly spaced buttresses and topped with ashlar coping. The eastern wall includes a gateway flanked by square ashlar gatepiers and fitted with iron gates. On the northern wall, there are two ranges of 19th-century lean-to potting and storage sheds attached to the outer face.
