KIRBY KNOWLE WHINMOOR HILL SE 48 NE (NORTH SIDE, OFF) 4/30 Statue approx. 10 metres to west of Kirby Knowle Castle GV II Statue. Mid-late C17. Stone pedestal, lead statue. Square-sectioned plinth with base and chamfered cornice supports statue of bearded Roman-style soldier leaning on spear which is now removed.
