Description

This statue, dating from the mid to late 17th century, is located approximately 10 metres to the west of Kirby Knowle Castle. It features a stone pedestal with a square-sectioned plinth that has a base and a chamfered cornice. The statue itself depicts a bearded Roman-style soldier leaning on a spear, although the spear has since been removed.
