Description
There are two statues in the garden to the east of Llantarnam Abbey. Both statues are slightly less than life size and made of Bath stone, standing on rough rock pedestals made of conglomerate. One statue depicts a medieval pilgrim dressed in a tunic, hood, and holding a staff, located to the southeast. The other statue represents a soldier wearing 17th century armor, complete with a sash, plumed helmet, and gun, positioned to the southwest.
