Description

Prospect Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed from dressed sandstone and features a pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. The building has a three-cell, hearth-passage plan and includes a rear service wing. It is two stories high with a three-window front. To the right of the center, there is a four-panel door with an overlight above it. The windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills throughout, and heavy painted lintels are present above the ground floor windows. The first-floor windows are set into the eaves, creating shallow raked dormers. There are stacks at both ends and one to the right of center.
