Description
Tinkler Hall is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is built from herringbone-tooled sandstone and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has a two-window front, along with a one-story, two-bay wing on the right side. The wing contains a 20th-century board door to the left of a four-pane sash window. The windows in the two-story section are tripartite replacement sashes set in their original openings, complete with painted stone sills and tooled keyblock lintels. The main front displays coped gables, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. On the right return, there is a reset window lintel that is carved with a shallow semicircular arch, which bears the date 1682.
