Description

Pine Cottage is a house from the early 18th century, likely with earlier origins. It is constructed of hammered sandstone on a plinth, topped with a pantile roof and featuring brick stacks. The building has a two-cell, end lobby-entry plan and stands at two low storeys with a two-window front. To the left, there is a four-panel, part-glazed door that is accessed by stone steps. To the right of the door, and on the first floor, are two three-light horizontal sliding sashes without glazing bars, all with painted stone sills. The ground floor openings have timber lintels, with the lintel above the door extending over the window to the right. The end stacks are included for group value.
