Description

Newton Bridge Number 164 is an accommodation bridge built around 1790, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a single elliptical arch supported by rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a band and a solid parapet with curved abutments.
