Description

Whitefield Bridge Number 141 is a public road bridge built in 1795, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. The bridge is constructed of dressed stone and features a single elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs. It has a plain parapet that was slightly railed at a later date, topped with coping. The curved abutments of the bridge end in piers.
