Description

Canal Bridge Number 138, built in 1795, is an accommodation bridge designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed of dressed stone and features an elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a plain coped parapet, and its curved abutments end in piers.
