Description

The following buildings shall be added:-

GREWELTHORPE SE 27 NW Farm Buildings to north west of SPRING HALL 1435/10000 II

Barn, granary cartsheds and stables. c1820. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings stone slate roof with ashlar cusped gables. Western range has large threshing Barn, with inclusive pigeon cote. East front has large off-centre cut entrance, with segment headed ashlar surround with keystone, and double plank doors. To the left a further doorway with plank door, to the right a further doorway with plank door. Above 2 rows of breathers. At the north west corner a 2 storey cart shed range with granary over, the north front has a central segment headed cart entrance with plank doors, flanked by wider cart entrances also with segment headed arches. Above a central loft door, flanked by single loft openings. To the left a single stable range with 5 doorways, some partially blocked. To the south east of the barn a short wall adjoining a small outbuilding with asbestos sheet roof, and on south front a door to the right and to the left 2 segment headed recessed windows with glazing bars.
