Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 100 metres east of West Flotmanby Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of redbrick in Garden Wall bond, with sandstone quoins and a pantile roof supported by a timber glover. The structure is rectangular and has two storeys. It features a boarded door beneath a timber lintel and coved eaves, with a ridge glover on top. Inside, nesting boxes with landing platforms are preserved in two of the walls.
