Description

This stable block, built in 1913 by Sidney Kitson for W H Hudleston, is located approximately twenty metres south-west of Rillington Manor. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof. The building is a single-storey range with a flat arch at the centre, flanked by three bay blind arcades, each containing a lunette. It has rusticated quoins and a four-course impost band. The eaves are bracketed, and there is a flat dormer with volutes to the left and a 20th-century flat dormer to the right. The end stacks are panelled and corniced, complementing the hipped roof. This structure is included for its group value.
