Description
This stable block, located 10 meters north of Hinton Ampner Place, dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick with flint panels and features an old plain tiled roof. The building is L-shaped, with the taller section at the house end forming bases. The roadside is blank, showcasing flint panels, while the other side has a tall wing that includes a small two-light window. There are garages at either end of the lower block, with a stable in the middle that has a door and an 18th-century three-light leaded casement window. Above this, there is a hipped dormer with a door leading to the hay loft. The roof is hipped at both ends of the building. This stable block is included for its group value.
