Description
No. 6 Hinton Hill is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, with an earlier core. It is constructed of brick featuring blue headers and has a roof that is slated with a lead ridge. The building faces the road and has a two-storey outshot at the rear, with a two-bay front. There is a planked door located to the left of the center, which is sheltered by a 20th-century timber bracketed porch. At both ends of the cottage, there are 19th-century two-light casement windows with blue headers set in cambered heads, along with a smaller window to the right of the door. Above the door and at the right end, there are two similar windows. The cottage has a central ridge stack and an external stack on the right. It is included in the register for its group value.
