Description
25 Potter Hill is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed of painted brick with a modern pantile roof. The building features rusticated quoins and a band between the ground and first floors. It has three windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars and keystones. The ground floor includes two canted bay windows and a doorway flanked by plain pilasters, topped with a cornice supported by console brackets. The door itself has six panels and is situated beneath a rectangular fanlight. The gable end is stone-coped with a kneeler on the left and a plinth at the base.
This property is part of a group that includes Nos 23 to 27, the Methodist Chapel, Nos 28 to 34, and No 33A, along with warehouse premises occupied by Frank Humble. Nos 23, 24, 28 to 34, and No 33A are noted as buildings of local interest, while Nos 30 and 31 also form a group with No 7 Train Lane.
